COVID 19 Government Assistance to Businesses

In light of the messages from the British government regarding the coronavirus (Covid-19), CWG Choices have decided to close their manufacturing and distribution operations for the time being, as of close of business Friday 27th March.

Dear CWG valued customer partner

During these most challenging times, I know you will be prioritizing the safety of your families and employees. During the downtime it's also important to plan both for the 're-start' and future of our businesses, the nature of which will impact our industry and ultimately the UK economy as a whole.

At CWG it is stated within our vision that 'we will work harder for customers to grow their business by supporting them with innovative products, presentation materials and digital support…', to that end we have complied a summary of the financial support available for businesses to date and links reference government assistance connected to the COVID19 crisis.

Not all schemes and therefore support will be available to all businesses but please do take some time to read and follow through the applicable links to your business, below.

It is incredibly important to support your own business, your key supply partners and the economy, by satisfying invoices that have become due. Indeed, the Double Glazing Blogger wrote a frank summary of how we should support each other, our industry and the economy as a whole by satisfying due invoices. : CWG certainly shares his sentiment and we have satisfied all due invoices during this crisis. This ensures you, our valued customer partner, will be fully supported following this period of isolation.

Finally, despite temporarily closing our manufacturing and distribution operations and to further support you, we have remained open for sales enquiries and order processing for both PVCu and Aluminium windows and doors. We have done this to enable you to make best use of the isolation period and ultimately to go some way to achieving a quick 'start up' post isolation and make best use of the 'get go' demand.

I hope you find the summary of support useful below.

Best wishes to you and family, stay safe.

15 April 2020

Chris Powell
